Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a skilled 3D designer/animator for a remote, contract-based role based in Canada. You will develop realistic 3D production tasks, model assets, rigging, animation, and rendering workflows to support AI system evaluation.

You will assess AI-generated content, define specs, and create reference scenes to ensure quality and consistency across projects. The role emphasizes independent work and collaboration with technical teams in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• A degree in 3D Animation, Digital Arts, Computer Graphics, Game Development, Design, or an equivalent portfolio.
• Substantial professional experience in 3D modeling, animation, visual effects, or digital asset production.
• Strong proficiency in at least one major 3D production tool (Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, Cinema 4D, Houdini).
• Solid understanding of 3D geometry, modeling techniques, materials, texturing, lighting, and rendering workflows.
• Ability to interpret briefs, specs, and production requirements.
• Experience with complex project files and production pipelines.
• Strong written English communication and ability to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic 3D production tasks based on modeling, animation, rendering, and VFX workflows.
• Create, edit, and refine 3D models, materials, textures, lighting, and scene compositions.
• Develop tasks involving mesh editing, UV mapping, rigging, animation, and asset prep.
• Define and validate technical specs for 3D assets (dimensions, topology, formats).
• Review project files to identify modeling errors and inconsistencies.
• Develop reference scenes and visual outputs demonstrating task completion and standards.
• Evaluate AI-generated 3D content for quality and accuracy against specs.
• Establish objective evaluation criteria covering geometry, assets, animation, and production needs.
• Collaborate to develop reproducible workflows and structured evaluation tasks.
• Document workflows with clear explanations of creative and technical decisions.
