Job description

Brandt is currently seeking 310T Truck & Coach Technician's for our Sudbury Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for the diagnostics, repair and maintenance of trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches in a shop environment. Various shifts are available (i.e. days, afternoons, weekends).

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble and repair the on road equipment efficiently and effectively
  • Use secondary materials and equipment safely
  • Use related instruments, hand/power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems
  • Accurately document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time spent
  • Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards
  • Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
  • Work with equipment engineers to diagnose and fulfill warranty requirements
  • Road test equipment and verify repairs as required
  • Other duties as required
