Job summary

Brandt Group of Companies seeks a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for the Vars Peterbilt location. You will diagnose, repair and maintain trucks, trailers, coaches, and buses in a shop setting, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include diagnosing, ordering parts, documenting work, and collaborating with engineers to meet warranty requirements. A commitment to customer service and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Desirable journeyperson status in truck and coach technician trade or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic abilities across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the service team and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair on road equipment.
• Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems.
• Accurately document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time spent.
• Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to standards.
• Use computer applications to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
• Work with equipment engineers to diagnose and fulfill warranty requirements.
• Use parts catalogues to locate parts and order them from parts personnel.
• Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required.
• Other duties as assigned
