Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for our Stoney Creek Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for the diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches in a shop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, and repair the on-road equipment efficiently and effectively.
  2. Use secondary materials and equipment safely.
  3. Use related instruments, hand/power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems.
  4. Accurately document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time spent.
  5. Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
  6. Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
  7. Work with equipment engineers to diagnose and fulfill warranty requirements.
  8. Road test equipment and verify repairs as required.
  9. Other duties as required.
