Job description

Brandt is currently seeking a 310T Truck & Coach Technician for our Ottawa Peterbilt location. This position is responsible for the diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches in a shop environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, and repair on-road equipment efficiently and effectively.
  2. Use secondary materials and equipment safely.
  3. Operate related instruments, hand/power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems.
  4. Accurately document all machine information, actions taken, and time spent on work orders.
  5. Continuously assess service task hazards, ensuring work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
  6. Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
  7. Collaborate with equipment engineers to diagnose issues and fulfill warranty requirements.
  8. Road test equipment and verify repairs as required.
  9. Perform other duties as required.
