Job Description

We are seeking skilled 310T Truck and Coach Mechanics to join our team at 161 Main St, Thunder Bay, ON, P7B 6S5, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of trucks and coaches, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and coaches
• Diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify potential problems
• Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of work orders
• Stay up-to-date with the latest truck and coach technologies and repair techniques
• Adhere to all safety protocols and industry standards

Qualifications

• Valid 310T certification OR 310J will be considered
• Proven experience as a truck and coach mechanic - at least 1-2 years of experience
• In-depth knowledge of truck and coach mechanical systems
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Good English communication skills to interact with team members and customers
• Physical ability to lift heavy components and work in various positions
• Willingness to work steady day shifts
