310T Heavy Equipment Technician

Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm

Join Joe Johnson Equipment as a Heavy Equipment Technician!

You'll perform mechanical repairs, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDIs) on a variety of equipment. This role emphasizes welding and fabrication in our service shop.

Signing Bonus:

• $2,500.00 - 310T or 421A Licensed
• $1,000.00 - 310T or 421A Apprentices

Position Requirements:

• 310T Truck and Coach/421A Heavy Equipment Journeyman
• 2+ years’ experience working in a shop environment with welding and fabrication
• Valid Driver’s License with Clean Abstract
• Experience with hydraulic and/or electrical work is an asset

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform troubleshooting, mechanical repairs, and PDIs on heavy equipment
• Conduct repairs efficiently, communicating effectively with the Service Writer and Parts team
• Perform preventative maintenance tasks and inspections
• Communicate with Lead Hand and/or Service Manager about job progress
• Maintain a safe and organized work area and tools
