Job description

Job Duties:

  1. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems;
  2. Test repaired equipment for proper performance;
  3. Maintain up-to-date/organized work orders;
  4. Communicate regularly with managers regarding repair status and concerns;
  5. Work as part of a team to support the daily needs of the operation;
  6. Maintain a clean & organized shop/equipment work area;
  7. Provide guidance and instruction to junior maintenance personnel;
  8. Suggest positive changes to processes or procedures to enhance operational efficiency;
  9. Observe safe work practices.

What will you bring?

  1. 310T or Red Seal Licence;
  2. Must have a valid G license/ Asset: Valid DZ licence & clean drivers abstract;
  3. Own tools;
  4. Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems an asset;
  5. Strong troubleshooting skills;
  6. Basic proficiency with use of computers;
  7. Asset: Previous work experience in working with online preventative maintenance programs;
  8. Ability to stand/lift 60lbs/carrying/bending/twisting for periods at a time/repeatedly;
  9. Effective communication skills (both written & verbal);
  10. Punctual, reliable, team player;
  11. Diagnose and complete all repairs safely and within company policy and manufacturer specifications.
