Job summary

Miller Waste Systems is seeking a 310T Mechanic or Apprentice to service and repair trucks across multiple Ontario locations (St. Catharines, Whitby, Uxbridge and more). You’ll work on a large municipal fleet, perform preventive maintenance, diagnose hydraulic/electrical issues, and ensure safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid 310T Truck & Coach Technician license or registered 310T Apprentice.
• Valid Class G Driver's License.
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical diagnostics.
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Occasional outside-hours availability when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues.
• Complete engine, brake, suspension and drivetrain repairs.
• Troubleshoot complex vehicle systems.
• Road tests and quality inspections.
• Respond to roadside service calls when needed.
• Complete accurate maintenance documentation.
• Follow Ministry, safety and company standards.
• Help minimize vehicle downtime through efficient repairs.

You’ll work on a diverse fleet of:

• Automated collection vehicles
• Front-end loaders

What You'll Do
