Job summary

Emterra Environmental in Ontario is seeking a 310T Mechanic to keep our fleet safe and efficient. You will diagnose and repair vehicles, troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, and support daily shop operations as part of a skilled maintenance team.

Required 310T or Red Seal, valid G license (DZ preferred), and strong troubleshooting. We offer a $41.60/hour wage, full benefits from day one, a safety‑first culture, tools provided, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 310T or Red Seal License.
• Valid G License (DZ preferred).
• Experience with hydraulic and electrical systems (asset).
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to lift 60 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete all repairs safely and within company policy and manufacturer specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and electrical systems.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Maintain up to date/organized work orders.
• Communicate regularly with managers regarding repair status and concerns.
• Work as part of a team to support the daily needs of the operation.
• Maintain a clean & organized shop/equipment work area.
• Provide guidance and instruction to junior maintenance personnel.
• Suggest positive changes to processes or procedures to enhance operational efficiency; and
• Observe safe work practices.
