Job Description

Work hours and location:

• Monday – Friday, starting at 2PM
• Repair/maintenance shop at Ottawa Hauling Site

Job responsibilities include:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
• Estimate costs for repairs and parts
• Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to emergency breakdowns
• Ensure safety checks and proper documentation
• Assist senior Mechanics and review repair reports

Requirements:

• Licensed Truck and Coach Mechanic
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Valid driver’s license with a good record
• Over 18 years old and eligible to work in Canada
• Ability to perform physical tasks with or without accommodations
• Pass pre-employment drug and physical tests
