Job description

Emcon Services Inc. is a proud Canadian-based company with over 30 years of success as an interprovincial road and bridge maintenance contractor. We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our mechanical team as a 310T Certified Technician for our London, Ontario division.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct annual safety inspections
  • Perform repairs and follow our preventative maintenance program on trucks, trailers, and equipment
  • Complete duties assigned by Lead-Hand/Mechanical Superintendent
Qualifications:
  • Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T)
  • Registered for DriveOn portal
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence
  • Experience in Preventative Maintenance Programs
  • Experience in engine/emission diagnostics, electrical diagnostics and repair
  • Experience with heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering
  • Knowledge of Bosch Rexroth salt management system
  • Fabrication and welding skills (asset)
  • Trade-related worksite safety knowledge
  • Experience with industry-related heavy-duty equipment such as gravel trucks, snow-plow trucks, loaders, graders, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, tractors, etc.
  • Ability to work overtime and perform call-outs for vehicle breakdowns
