Position Overview

Rush Truck Centres of Canada, part of Rush Enterprises—North America's largest commercial vehicle dealership group—has 15 locations in Ontario and nearly 600 employees. We are seeking Licensed and Apprentice 310T Diesel Mechanics / Technicians for our Oshawa dealership, located at 787 Bloor St. W., Oshawa, ON L1J 5Y6. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and company safety policies.
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
  • Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, and determine malfunctions to plan work procedures.
  • Perform repairs on trucks, engines, and components.
  • Document all work performed.
  • Inspect safety devices, guards, and bolts, and make adjustments as needed.
  • Tag and save parts under warranty when applicable.
  • Attend training sessions and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S).
  • Strong communication skills and positive work attitude.
  • SAP experience is an asset.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Criminal Record Check and Driver's Abstract required.
  • AZ / DZ License is an asset.
