Position Overview

Rush Truck Centres of Canada, part of Rush Enterprises — the largest commercial vehicle dealership group in North America — is seeking qualified Licensed or Apprentice 310T Diesel Mechanics / Technicians for our Kingston dealership located at 750 Dalton Ave, Kingston, ON K7M 8N8. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations and company policies.
  • Provide technical service to vehicles and equipment.
  • Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, and determine malfunction.
  • Perform repairs on trucks, engines, and components.
  • Document all work performed accurately.
  • Inspect and adjust safety devices on trucks.
  • Tag and save parts under warranty when applicable.
  • Attend training and stay updated with factory technical bulletins.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • Licensed or Registered Apprentice (310T or 310S).
  • Good communication skills and positive work attitude.
  • SAP experience is an asset.
  • Valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
  • Criminal Record Check and Driver's Abstract required.
  • AZ / DZ License is an asset.
