310T Heavy Duty Technician - Cote Gold (Mining Tire Group)

Kal Tire is Canada’s largest independent tire dealer and one of North America’s largest commercial tire dealers. Our Mining Tire Group is a leader in mining tire service and supply, servicing over 150 mine sites across five continents.

The Côté Gold Project is located in northeastern Ontario, near Gogama, Timmins, and Sudbury. The area features gentle hills, forests, lakes, and rivers, situated on two subwatersheds: Mollie River and Mesomikenda River systems.

This position offers a 2-week in, 2-week out schedule, with potential changes to 1-week in, 1-week out, based on an averaging agreement. Candidates must be based in Timmins, Sudbury, North Bay, or surrounding areas. Transportation to the site from designated muster points is provided.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on vehicles in a fast-paced environment.
• Execute inspections, diagnostics, adjustments, and automotive services.
• Assist in identifying mechanical opportunities with the Sales team.

Qualifications

• Certified 310T Automotive Service Technician or licensed Mechanic.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
• Proficient in inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicles.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions involving heavy lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Valid driver’s license.
