Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a 310T Licensed Diesel Mechanic in Ontario to inspect, repair, and rebuild company-owned heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document work with fleet software while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

Must have 310T Truck & Coach Technician license.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a diesel mechanic.
High school diploma or GED required; technical diploma preferred.
Experience with diagnostic software is a strong asset.
Safety-sensitive role with adherence to all safety standards.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair heavy-duty diesel trucks and related equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure fleet reliability.
Complete work orders, repair reports, and parts requests using fleet maintenance software.
Plan and schedule repairs using the M5 planner and coordinate parts.
Ensure safety compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Maintain tools, shop area, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
Provide operational support and follow company policies.
