Emcon Services Inc. Job Opportunity: 310T Certified Technician

Emcon Services Inc. is a proud Canadian-based company with over 30 years of success as an interprovincial road and bridge maintenance contractor. We currently have an opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our mechanical team as a 310T certified technician in Kitchener, Ontario.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain and repair highway maintenance fleet vehicles, trucks, and heavy equipment.
2. Perform servicing and repairs in accordance with provincial requirements.
3. Execute expertise in preventative maintenance, engine/emission diagnostics, electrical diagnostics, and repairs.
4. Work on heavy truck hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering systems.
5. Operate and maintain Bosch Rexroth salt management system.
6. Assist with fabrication and welding tasks (asset consideration).
7. Adhere to worksite safety standards and protocols.
8. Respond to vehicle breakdowns as needed, including call-outs.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Truck & Coach Mechanic (310T).
• Registered for DriveOn portal.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Proficiency in diagnostics and repairs of engines, emissions, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, brakes, suspension, and steering.
• Knowledge of industry-related heavy-duty equipment such as gravel trucks, snow-plow trucks, loaders, graders, sweepers, mowers, backhoes, and tractors.
• Capable of working overtime and responding to call-outs.
• Good understanding of worksite safety practices.
