Schedule: Monday to Thursday (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM) & Friday (6:00 AM – 12:30 PM) — No nights or weekends
Compensation: $34.00 – $38.00 / hour
About the Role: 310J Trailer Mechanic
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced 310J Trailer Mechanic to join a premier transit bus and highway coach repair and refurbishment facility. Working out of a modern, clean, 100,000+ sq. ft. indoor shop, you will handle troubleshooting, inspections, and mechanical and electrical repairs on our transit fleets.

Key Responsibilities: 310J Trailer Mechanic
- Troubleshoot and inspect vehicles to detect faults, malfunctions, and irregularities.
- Perform quality mechanical and electrical repairs under the direction of management.
- Determine the extent of required repairs, adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts.
- Test repaired equipment to ensure proper and safe performance.
- Clean, lubricate, and perform complete overhauls on braking systems, engine/transmission systems, and suspension systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification: Valid 310J Certification required.
- Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency in analyzing mechanical and electrical problems, utilizing electronic and diagnostic equipment, and understanding fleet maintenance practices.
- Tools: Must provide own necessary hand tools.
- Physical Capability: Ability to stand and bend for long periods and lift heavy equipment/materials as required.
- Work Status & Traits: Must be a Canadian resident with a safety-oriented mindset, acute attention to detail, and a collaborative team player attitude.
