Job description

310T Truck and Coach Technician – Field Service

Responsibilities:

1. Provide vehicle acceptance and in-field service support for bus deliveries to customers.
2. Assist with warranty cases, retrofit work, deliver technical training, and communicate with customers regularly.
3. Support experienced technicians in diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining buses.
4. Perform retrofit installations and collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical issues.
5. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
6. Follow all safety procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
7. Participate in ongoing training to improve skills in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance.
8. Accurately document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
9. Provide daily updates on assignments and maintain tracking documentation.
10. Record and close all repair activities in the Service Cloud.
11. Learn and utilize relevant software tools for daily tasks.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. Diploma and valid 310T License.
2. Interest in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and professional development.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. Team-oriented with good instruction-following abilities.
5. Familiarity with tools and equipment used in vehicle maintenance.
6. Physical capability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
7. Experience in automotive or transportation industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Required Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar field service role, ideally in transit industry.
