Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete on-site wiring of field devices and equipment
  • MCC installation
  • Switchgear/Switchboard installation
  • System Retrofitting; relay logic conversion to PLC driven systems
  • System Upgrading; replacement/upgrading of outdated PLC systems to newer hardware
  • Control wiring to field devices; proximity sensors, point level indication, continuous level indication, flow indication, temperature indication, position indication
  • Custom control panel building
  • Run conduit & pull wire
  • Rigid Steel
  • Assist foreman on job sites
  • Assist in training of apprentices
Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • College Diploma/Certificate considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Additional certificates and training would be considered a strong asset
  • Experience in rigid conduit threading and installation considered a strong asset
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment
  • Familiar with basic hand and power tools
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
