Job summary

Byrne is seeking a Warehouse Operator for its Cortland, NY facility. The role involves executing warehouse tasks, tracking production orders, labeling, and loading finished goods for outbound shipments while using the Inventory Management System to ensure accurate inventory across shifts.

The position requires flexibility for startup conditions, training in Syracuse, and the ability to operate in ambient and refrigerated environments with safety and quality at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Minimum of GED or High School Diploma preferred.
• Prior PIT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate palletizing equipment and conveyors to maintain continuous production line flow and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and operational issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards.
• Operate Inventory Management System handheld scanners to accurately track raw materials and finished goods inventory throughout the shift.
• Safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) in compliance with company safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide flexible staffing support by covering breaks, lunches, and other assigned duties as directed by supervisor or lead personnel.
