Description

We are seeking a 2nd Line Service Desk Engineer / IT Support Analyst with experience in Windows 10, O365, Active Directory, MS Office, Cloud/Azure, Bespoke Software, SQL, SCCM, and InTune to join our client based in Basingstoke. The role offers a salary of 30K plus bonus and training opportunities.

The successful candidate will provide second-level support to internal users across the UK and Europe, supporting over 10,000 users. The role involves remote and onsite desktop support, incident management, and escalation to third-line support when necessary.

This position offers excellent training prospects and requires technical skills in Windows 10, Mobile Phones, Active Directory, End User Computing, O365, SQL Server, Application Support, SCCM/InTune, and Laptop/Client/Server support, with opportunities for cloud technology training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a point of contact for 2nd line IT & Software issues and queries
  • Escalate unresolved issues to L3 and infrastructure teams
  • Maintain an Asset Database and track changes
  • Own user problems and communicate progress effectively
  • Publish support documentation for staff
  • Report significant issues to the Team Lead
