Job Description

As a valuable member of the RS team, you will prepare menu items and condiments, ensuring championship service in a high-paced, high-volume environment. You will efficiently maintain kitchen and concession areas, following guidelines from the Toronto Public Health Board.

  • Gather, wash, cut, season, cook, and store quality ingredients efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with public health standards.
  • Maintain personal hygiene, including handwashing, wearing a clean uniform, and restraining hair.
  • Properly store all food ingredients, using correct rotation methods.
  • Use all kitchen equipment safely and sanitarily.
  • Ensure high quality and consistency in food preparation.
  • Report equipment issues and product discrepancies to a Supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as delegated by Supervisors.
  • Train co-workers on product knowledge, specifications, and teamwork.
  • Delegate tasks to co-workers as needed.
  • Adhere to MLSE service standards and policies, including health and safety regulations.
  • Comply with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Qualifications

  • Food Handler Certification is an asset (Basics.fst, Toronto Public Health, or equivalent).
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knife-handling skills are an asset.
  • Ability to work in various kitchen locations.
  • Willingness to learn and apply Quick Service recipe specifications promptly.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a team environment.
