Job description

This position has no set schedule, with casual call-ins. It involves working days and weekend shifts; however, shifts are not guaranteed.

The Laundry Helper participates as a member of the Laundry/Linen team and understands the roles of all team members. The incumbent should have the maturity to work effectively with all staff levels and participate in a structured problem-solving approach.

Qualifications:

  1. Must have Grade 12 education.
  2. Must be able to speak, read, and write English at a level required to perform the duties of the job.
  3. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job and work within environmental elements.
  4. Previous experience in a laundry facility with knowledge of folding procedures and laundry processes is required.
  5. Must understand the use of computers and Microsoft programs.
  6. Must be able to work with minimal supervision, demonstrate teamwork skills, be a logical thinker, and be self-motivated.

Salary Range: $26.398 to $26.764
