Job description

This position involves working various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. The shift schedule is not to be interpreted as fixed or limited to specific hours.

Qualifications
  • Must have Grade 12 education and be able to read and write English.
  • Must have previous cleaning experience, including dry mopping, wet mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting in patient care areas.
  • Knowledge of Infection Control practices and proper cleaning techniques is preferred.
  • Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job and work within environmental elements.
  • Knowledge of operating various floor machines.
  • Understanding of computer use and Microsoft programs.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrate teamwork, logical thinking, and self-motivation.
Salary Range

$26.398 to $26.764

Additional Requirements
  • All external candidates must pass a Criminal Records Check (CRC) where indicated and provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination as approved by Health Canada.
  • Applicants should demonstrate knowledge and commitment to Patient and Family Centred Care.
  • Good attendance is essential; applicants must demonstrate a good attendance record.
