Two (2) Continuing Full-time Positions: commencing approximately August 15, 2025

One position will be designated for a candidate who identifies as a member of one or more of the following communities:

The salary scale for NSCC Faculty ranges from $74,170.79 to $102,223.12, with potential step increases based on experience.

What you'll do
Responsibilities
  • Provide theoretical and practical instruction in the Practical Nursing program and other programs within the School of Health and Human Services.
  • Coordinate, supervise, and evaluate clinical placements, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Design and deliver educational experiences using various teaching methods and technologies.
  • Ensure health and safety practices are followed.
  • Maintain current industry knowledge and adapt teaching methods accordingly, including online and blended modalities.
  • Participate in academic advisement, committee work, program marketing, curriculum development, and liaising with industry partners.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of an accredited Nursing Program-Diploma, Bachelor of Nursing, or BSc in Nursing; registered or eligible for registration as an LPN, RN, or NP with the NSCN.
  • At least five years of recent nursing experience, with at least one year in Canada.
  • Experience in diverse clinical settings is an asset.
  • Facilitator training in Dementia or Palliative Care is an asset.
  • Proficiency with computer applications and online teaching platforms.
  • Experience in adult education and providing performance feedback is preferred.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and comfort with multimedia and online teaching technologies.
