What you'll do

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for coordinating, developing, analyzing, and stewarding data to support the Academic Division of NSCC.

You will provide academic teams with integration and analysis of key information and programming data to support planning and decision making. The role involves analyzing various data sets to produce statistical and analytical research to aid decision making and planning.

The role requires advanced analytical skills and proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Excel, Cognos, and PeopleSoft. You will develop project tools like dashboards, support analysis, and communicate complex data insights to guide evidence-based planning and policy development.

What you'll need

Qualifications

- A relevant university degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience analyzing large data sets and delivering accurate reports for decision making.
- Experience with social/educational research methods and tools such as SPSS, Cognos, Excel.
- Experience with PeopleSoft and SPSS is an asset.
- Knowledge of relational databases and SQL programming, especially MS SQL Server T-SQL, is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other documentation tools.
- Knowledge of Administrative ERP systems is an asset.
