What you'll do
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Academic Chair of Business and Creative Industries, you will:
1. Provide support and maintenance of equipment for various program areas within the School of Business and Creative Industries, including music amps and microphones.
2. Assist students in identifying equipment needs for different learning scenarios, such as live sound setups.
3. Manage daily equipment sign-out and inventory control.
4. Order materials aligned with curriculum requirements.
5. Identify and perform basic repairs on faulty equipment.
6. Support students during evening and weekend hours in production spaces, including loaning equipment, troubleshooting, and maintaining schedules.
What you'll need
Qualifications
- A diploma related to Television and Film Production or Audio Recording.
- At least two years of relevant occupational experience, including customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and familiarity with both Mac and PC platforms.
- Knowledge of audio recording hardware and software, live sound, film production setup, video cameras, post-production equipment, digital still cameras, and lighting gear.
