Salary range: $140,664.73 - $165,487.92 annually
We are looking for a Dean, School of Technology and Environment. Based in Halifax, you will build provincial partnerships with sector-based employers to ensure our programming meets industry needs and provides students with the most innovative, challenging, and applied education you can get in Nova Scotia and beyond. You will lead the development of the programming mix in the School which includes certificates, diplomas, continuing education, and customized training; and you will ensure this programming keeps current and progressive in these dynamic fields. You will accomplish all of this by working collaboratively with internal, community and government partners in a way that supports the College's strategic plan and priorities.
The Dean is accountable for the overall vision and strategic leadership of the School. Specifically, this encompasses the development of the programming mix, supporting the college's strategic plan and academic priorities; ensuring accountable decision-making; and setting and achieving School goals while identifying and enabling key relationships and partnerships across NSCC and throughout the unique communities we so proudly serve.
