These positions are open to all qualified CUPE staff throughout Lakeridge Health commencing 19 June 2025 and closing at 11:59 pm on 26 June 2025.
Reporting to the Manager of Food Services, the Dietary Aide will provide support to the set-up, preparation, serving, and clean up associated with all meal services at the Lakeridge Gardens 320 bed long term care home built on the Ajax-Pickering site.
This new home is part of the government's plan to improve long-term care delivery and capacity in Ontario and in the Durham Region. It features dining and outdoor spaces on every floor, a large courtyard, onsite diabetes care, specialized care units, and other innovative features.
Just as Lakeridge Health is a beacon in the Durham community, this new long-term care home is essential for managing and delivering on the needs and expectations of seniors in the Durham community and Ontario.
Terms in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and CUPE Local 6364. Successful external applicants must provide a recent Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector. Accommodation is provided during recruitment and assessment per AODA.
