Position Summary
Reporting to the Manager / Supervisors of Environmental Services LTC, the Service Associate (LTC Housekeeping Services) is an integral member of the Resident Care Team and Housekeeping Services Team at the Lakeridge Gardens 320 bed long term care home built on the Ajax-Pickering hospital site.
This new home is part of the government's plan to improve long-term care delivery and capacity in Ontario and in the Durham Region. This state-of-the-art long-term care home sets a new bar for seniors' care, with dining and outdoor space on every floor, a large courtyard, onsite diabetes care and other important innovative features.
Just as Lakeridge Health is a beacon in the Durham community, the new long-term care home is an integral to managing and delivering on the needs and expectations of seniors in the Durham community and Ontario.

The terms and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Collective Agreement between the Hospital and C.U.P.E Local 6364.
Successful External applicants must provide a satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector, dated within the past six (6) months.
