  • Location: Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering & Oshawa
  • Wage Schedule: $36.840 - $50.240 per hour

This position is open to all qualified OPSEU staff throughout Lakeridge Health from 15 May 2025 to 23 May 2025, closing at 11:59 pm.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Produce radiographs and CT images, store and record images as required, and complete examinations requested by medical staff.
  • Assist Radiologists and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Maintain technical competence per CMRITO guidelines and CAMRT/OAMRT requirements.
  • Participate in rotation into other radiographic modalities.
  • Contribute to student and technologist training and perform related duties.
Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized Medical Radiation Sciences program.
  • Valid CMRITO license.
  • Knowledge of radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT techniques, pathology, and record keeping.
  • Ability to operate X-Ray, CT, Fluoroscopy, and ancillary equipment.
  • Effective communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize requests and adapt procedures in emergencies.
  • Availability to work all shifts, take standby call, and be on site within 30 minutes.
  • CAMRT membership preferred.

  • Understanding of safety practices and participation in in-services.
Conditions of Employment

Employment terms follow the Collective Agreement with OPSEU Local 348. External applicants must provide a recent satisfactory Criminal Investigation Reference for the vulnerable sector.
