Location: 1 Holt Road, Bowmanville (Hybrid – 2 days remote)

Job Overview
  • The Modification Team Leader (MTL) is responsible for completing assigned Minor Projects according to OPG Engineering change control processes and coordinating activities among OPG and vendor stakeholders.
  • Leads the modification team, managing safety, resources, risks, scope, cost, and schedule of assigned modifications.
  • Develops modification plans, contracting strategies, procurement plans, and installation & commissioning plans to ensure timely and smooth implementation.
  • Reviews invoices and provides recommendations on payments. Duties include leading and monitoring Modification Outline packages, tracking design completion, work order assessments, material deliveries, and conducting COMS and Available for Service meetings.
  • Represents Minor Projects in various meetings such as Plant Health, T-meetings, and Outage meetings.
  • Familiarity with nuclear processes such as Chestnut Park Accord Addendum (CPAA), PSA, ES-MSA, and online execution processes N PROC-MA-0022 and N-PROC-MA-0013 is advantageous.
  • Prepares Business Case Summaries and understands gated processes for capital project funding approval.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 4 years of project management experience, with higher experienced candidates considered for MP4.
  • Experience with nuclear project management is an asset.
  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering from a recognized Canadian university or equivalent.
  • P. Eng and/or PMP certification is an asset. Nuclear security clearance required.
