IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL
DESIRABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Master’s degree in resource management, environmental planning, environmental science or a discipline related to the work with considerable experience in an environmental management environment, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Qualification as a RP Biologist, and work experience in a planning environment would be an asset.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred Qualifications of this role involves mainly policy related project work that includes reviewing and updating environmental and climate policy and programs, the planning and managing of public engagement processes, updates to various long-range planning strategies, and a minimum of five years of policy planning experience.
Membership or eligibility for membership in the Planning Institute of British Columbia and Canadian Institute of Planners is preferred.
