Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $35.40~$38.00/hour (depending on experience)

Number of Positions: 1

Work Location: 9551 87 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, AB T8L 4N3

Benefits: 10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

Job Duties:
  1. Oversee the work of cooks and other kitchen staff.
  2. Introduce cooking staff to new techniques and equipment.
  3. Develop menus and ensure that all food meets established quality standards.
  4. Prepare dishes tailored to customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  5. Cook and prepare meals or specialty dishes as needed.
  6. Manage the recruitment and hiring of kitchen staff.
  7. Coordinate the purchase and repair of kitchen equipment.
  8. Order food and other necessary kitchen supplies.
  9. Train cooks in food preparation, cooking techniques, garnishing, and presentation.
  10. Supervise and provide guidance to cooks and other kitchen personnel.
  11. Keep accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
Job Requirements:
  1. Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience is required.
  2. Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
