What is the opportunity?

Quality Engineer
Automation Analyst
What will you do?
Assist with the development of automated test plans & solutions to meet clients’ growing needs for automation and enhancing process controls & governance.
Create plans for, update, and execute QA testing.
Support programming testing tools for internal use.
Maintain and provide accurate testing status reports during testing phases.
Maintain documentation of test results according to defined tools.
Support of upgrades to the testing environment.
Automate reporting processes by using the combination of tools of Blue Prism, VBA and SQL.
Apply data warehouse concepts and methodologies to various projects.
Confirm that projects adhere to development standards and guidelines.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on computer science, technology, or engineering.
Leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment.
Excellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written).
Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to learn and absorb new concepts (in business and in systems) quickly and apply new knowledge.
Strong MS Office skills – Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong systematic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of QA methods, testing approaches, frameworks, and methodologies.
Experience in SQL and or VBA.
Knowledge of design, development, and implementation utilizing current analytics technologies and architecture, as well as data warehouse
concepts and methodologies.
Nice-to-have
Automation Expertise (Blue Prism, etc.) and experience using BI Tools including Tableau, Elastic.
Prior experience in data integration of disparate data sources.
Relational database concepts and design experience.
