Mount Carmel Clinic is seeking a Manager of Finance & Operations to lead day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and the maintenance program. You will supervise Finance and Maintenance staff and partner with the Director to advance MCC’s mission and values.

The role demands strong accounting expertise, five years in a leadership capacity, and experience with maintenance contracts and building safety standards. Competitive hourly rate is offered within MCC’s union-exempt framework.

Position Summary

The Manager, Finance & Operations is the Director of Finance & Operations’ primary support in the management of Financial Services and Maintenance at Mount Carmel Clinic (MCC). The Manager leads day-to-day accounting and financial reporting, oversees the maintenance program and its contracts, and supervises the Finance and Maintenance staff, in keeping with MCC’s mission, vision, values and philosophies.

Qualifications

Education

• Post-secondary education in an accounting program
• CPA Designation considered an asset
• A combination of education and experience may be considered
• Experience in UKG payroll software is preferred

Skills, Expertise and Experience

• Minimum of five (5) years’ related work experience in an accounting and operations leadership role
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with computerized accounting systems, information systems, building maintenance software and Microsoft Excel
• Demonstrated ability to plan and complete maintenance and renovation projects
• Working knowledge of Manitoba Safety and Health standards for maintenance work
