RBC Wealth Management Canada includes six complementary lines of business supported by over 250 wealth professionals through our RBC Family Office Services team. We are currently reviewing applications for multiple roles in the following areas:

Opportunity Overview

We seek a Content and Communications student to assist with marketing and communications projects. This role offers insights into internal and external communications, presentations, intranet updates, marketing collateral, and other tasks aligned with business objectives. The ideal candidate is proficient in MS Office, has a flair for formatting, strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, a client-service mindset, and keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate with various departments to support ongoing projects and meet business goals.
  2. Assist in drafting internal and external communications, including emails and newsletters, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  3. Create, edit, and maintain articles, videos, and presentations following brand guidelines.
  4. Update existing training content and develop new content (videos, infographics, newsletters, etc.) with subject matter experts.
  5. Support coordination and administrative tasks for training programs and calls.
  6. Maintain office policies, coordinate meeting logistics, and support intranet updates and migrations.
  7. Assist in delivering high-quality, timely communications.
  8. Handle additional communications-related tasks as they arise.
  9. Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications for Success

Must-have:

  • Experience in content creation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects with competing deadlines
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and analytical thinking, self-driven, adaptable to fast-paced settings
  • Understanding of the financial services industry
  • Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn and contribute

Nice-to-have:

  • Passion for thought leadership and innovation
  • Knowledge of wealth management industry
  • Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, design tools like InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Seismic
  • Canadian Securities Course or CFA Investment Foundations Certificate

Additional Notes

Applicants must be returning to school after the work term or require the full work term to graduate if graduating immediately after the work term.
