Overview

Reporting to the Manager, Guest Services, you will play a supervisory and administrative role within the Guest Services department. You will oversee about eight Call Centre staff from the pre-event period through Labour Day. Your responsibilities include staff training, scheduling, and payroll administration.

Responsibilities

  1. Act as a customer service role model for staff
  2. Determine staffing requirements for the Call Centre team
  3. Coordinate scheduling and conduct staff interviews
  4. Prepare, schedule, and deliver training for Call Centre staff
  5. Set up and equip Call Centre & Info Booth locations with necessary equipment, including IT and telephones
  6. Maintain staff schedules for Call Centre, Information Booths, Lost & Found, and Trains
  7. Prepare and submit weekly payroll for the same departments
  8. Ensure policies and procedures, including safety protocols, are followed
  9. Stay current on policies to provide accurate information to guests
  10. Log guest complaints accurately in the database
  11. Complete employee evaluations
  12. Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Availability from mid-June to early September
  • Availability to work all 18 days of the fair (August 15th – September 1st)
  • Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends during the period leading up to and including the CNE
