This position reports into the respective Business Unit IT Manager/Lead and is based at Markham, ON.

Role reports to: Business Unit IT Manager/Lead
Location: Markham, ON
Travel %: 0-10%
Pay: Anticipated weekly pay rate of $775 - $915, depending on skills, experience, education, and other factors

What you will do

Depending on the role, the candidate may work with Local (Canada), Regional (US & Canada), or Global Business partners and development teams. The scope may include Digital Marketing, CRM strategy, Digital platforms, Data & Analytics, among other functions.

This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with partners across and outside the business, manage technical projects, implement IT solutions, support business functions in technology, and learn about IT business processes from a sales perspective.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaison Role: Serve as the primary link between business and IT for technical and sales projects, identifying current and future needs.
• Information Gathering Facilitation: Lead sessions with business and tech partners to gather requirements and assist in analyses.
• Project Leadership: Guide project teams to meet objectives, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Issue Resolution: Address project issues, developing strategies considering business constraints.
• Project Planning & Reporting: Develop and communicate project plans, monitor deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• User Access Management: Oversee access requests, security audits, and compliance tasks.
• SDLC Compliance: Follow the IT SDLC methodology during projects.
• Work Environment Support: Promote a collaborative, customer-focused, innovative work environment.

Additional learning opportunities include gaining domain expertise (Data & Analytics, Digital Marketing, etc.), developing project management skills, enhancing communication skills, engaging in innovation initiatives, understanding IT processes, creating technical documentation, working within a matrix organization, and managing business partner relationships.

Qualifications

Required:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program
• At least 1 year completed of a 4-5-year program
• Eligible for an 8-month co-op at Markham, ON
• Availability to work from early September 2025, Monday to Friday
