Position: Science Teacher (Part-time, 0.375 FTE)

Location: West Vancouver Secondary School

Effective Dates: September 2, 2025, to June 30, 2026

The annual salary for a full-time position ranges from $59,711 to $109,520, prorated for part-time employment, based on experience and qualifications, in accordance with the collective agreement.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Qualifications and experience in teaching Science
• Post-secondary coursework and/or ELL certification considered an asset
• Knowledge of Proficiency Scales for assessment
• Knowledge of Ministry of Education Core Competencies, Big Ideas, and Learning Standards
• Valid BC Professional Teaching Certificate
• Experience integrating technology into the curriculum
• Ability to use diverse teaching strategies for various learners
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
