We are an integrated health system providing the full continuum of care to the six communities of the western James Bay coast, with over 500 employees, physicians, and partners in care. Our services include Primary Care, Acute and Mental Health services, Dental, Specialty Clinics, Population Health, and the WAHA Paramedic Service. We operate six paramedic bases, three hospitals, four emergency departments, one community health centre, and 72 beds. What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate administrative functions, including maintaining internal protocols, tracking systems, and policies
  • Document data related to education completion (virtual and in-class) and share with stakeholders and leadership in a timely manner
  • Work within the HR and Education Team to stay informed of updates and communications from various sources
  • Ensure knowledge of privacy requirements under the Personal Health Information Protection Act and the Health Care Consent Act

What You Bring

  • Successful completion of secondary school
  • Post-secondary education or training in business, health discipline, or a diploma in office or business administration
  • Experience with computers, office, and reception duties
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Proficiency in English; Cree language skills are an asset
