Status: Part Time, FTE 0.6, Permanent
Hours of Work: Days of work vary; 8:45am to 5:00pm

Salary: $32.951- $38.200/hour
*These hours are dependent on the operational requirements of the organization

Position Summary
The Volunteer Coordinator supports and enhances Mount Carmel Clinic’s relationship with the broader community, promotes MCC programs and services and invites volunteer participation from community members and groups. The Volunteer Coordinator makes room for participation from those who offer their services, ensures that risks have been anticipated and managed, provides training and orientation as needed, and supervises MCC volunteers.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Community Development or the Social Sciences or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificate in Volunteer Management or Human Resources.
Valid Manitoba Drivers’ License and access to a reliable vehicle.

Skills, Expertise and Experience
Strong knowledge of effective volunteer management practices.
Minimum 3 years of program development and volunteer management experience.
Demonstrated facilitation, supervision, leadership, and evaluation skills.
Experience in internal and external event planning and management.

Critical Skills
Proven knowledge and ability in critical thinking, decision-making, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.

Focus on Results
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and focus work-related activities to effectively and efficiently achieve goals and produce expected results/outcomes.
