Job description

Effective Date: September 1, 2025 (Semester 1) / January 30, 2026 (Semester 2)

Qualifications: Ontario College of Teachers’ Certificate of Qualification and qualification to teach in the Intermediate and/or Senior divisions, in accordance with Ministry of Education Regulations. Note: Positions marked with an asterisk require additional qualifications in: Technological Studies - Transportation Technology and a valid Automotive Service Technician certificate of qualification from Skilled Trades Ontario in good standing.

Applications from qualified candidates will be considered in the following order:

  1. Current qualified internal secondary part-time contract teachers, fitting the 2025-26 school-year timetable. Applications should be addressed and emailed to the respective school Principal.
  2. Current qualified internal secondary contract teachers. Applications should be addressed and emailed to the respective school Principal.
  3. Current qualified Grand Erie secondary occasional teachers and external qualified applicants. Applications must be submitted through Apply to Education (ATE). The ATE website () facilitates the submission of required documentation.

Your application must include a cover letter, resume, copy of your current Certificate of Qualification, practice teaching reports or the most recent performance review(s), and three professional references (at least one must be a current principal or supervisor, if applicable).

All applications will be screened, and some applicants may not be granted an interview.
