Job summary

Une entreprise leader dans le domaine de la coiffure est à la recherche de deux stylistes capillaires à Calgary. La personne sélectionnée sera responsable de divers services de coiffure, y compris la coupe, la teinture et des traitements du cuir chevelu, tout en offrant une expérience client exceptionnelle. Travaillant dans un environnement dynamique, le candidat idéal devra posséder une excellente communication et une capacité à travailler efficacement en équipe.

Qualifications

• Achèvement de l'éducation secondaire ou expérience équivalente.
• 7 mois à moins d'un an d'expérience en tant que coiffeur.

Responsibilities

• Suggérer des coiffures adaptées aux caractéristiques physiques du client.
• Couper, onduler, teindre et coiffer les cheveux.
• Analyser les conditions des cheveux et du cuir chevelu et fournir des soins.

Position Title & # Of Vacancies: Hairstylist - 2 Positions

Job Duties

Suggest hairstyles compatible with the client's physical features or determine style from the client's instructions and preferences. Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair. Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair. Analyze hair and scalp conditions and provide basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair. Clean and style wigs and hair pieces. Apply hair extensions. May shampoo and rinse hair. May perform receptionist duties and order supplies. May train or supervise other hairstylists, hairstylist apprentices, and helpers.

Work Setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio

Hair Styling Techniques: Blow drying, Iron waving/curling, Extensions, Roller setting

Barber Specific Skills: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, provide other hair treatments, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages

Additional Skills: Shampoo customers' hair. Maintain and order supplies.
