Job summary

A consulting firm is seeking a skilled Developer with a strong background in software development to join their team in Montreal. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience in both frontend and backend development, with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Responsibilities include programming, documenting technical work, and collaborating with clients to ensure smooth post-implementation services. Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in a Full Stack Development role is preferred, as well as knowledge of various technologies including API development, Kubernetes, and AWS.

The Developer is required to have a minimum of 2 years experience in the following skills:

1. Programming, testing, and supporting the development and maintenance of systems, including translating software specifications into code.
2. Documenting technical work.
3. Developing technical reference materials.
4. Supporting post-implementation maintenance services through liaison with Business Analysts and clients.

In addition, the proposed Consultant(s) should demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
2. Experience with agile software development methodologies; Scrum Certification is preferred.
3. Experience as a Full Stack Developer.
4. Analytical, interpretative, and problem-solving skills.
5. Experience with API development, integration, and continuous development environments.
6. Frontend and backend development experience.
7. Experience with version control technologies such as Subversion and Git, especially in open source environments.
8. Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
9. At least two years of experience with Kubernetes, User Interface Design, MERN, PERM, Docker, Redis, Jenkins, Serverless, User Experience Design, Design Systems, MongoDB, Package Management, YARN, Amazon Web Services, and Test Driven Development; preference given to such experience.
