Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon in Saskatoon is seeking an Electrical Apprentice/Junior Shop Assistant to support shop operations, including electrical testing, wiring, and parts handling. You will help disassemble/reassemble components, clean parts, and maintain an organized workshop while engaging with clients professionally.

The position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • Mechanically inclined with interest in shop operations.
  • Exposure to mechanical tools and hands-on tasks.
  • Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with minimal supervision.

Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Apprentice/Junior Shop Assistant in our Saskatoon office. The successful candidate will be accountable for supporting shop operations such as but not limited to, electrical testing, wiring, disassemble/reassemble mechanical parts, cleaning and sand blasting.

Requirements
  • Mechanically inclined preferred
  • Exposure to and knowledge of mechanical tools

  • Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
