Job description

We are looking for 2 x Field Workers for Arborist/ Tree Lopper team to work with a busy local government team doing general labouring within the teams. The team does tree maintenance around the city. Works include tree pruning, removal of dead branches and chipping. Demonstrated experience in tree maintenance and pruning will be advantageous. This is a casual position and provides a good opportunity to get a foot in the door with an employer of choice in the Ipswich area. Work 9-day fortnight between 6.00 am and 3.00 pm Monday to Friday. Hourly rate up to $40 per hour depending on experience.

We are looking for candidates for an immediate start. You will need your own basic PPE (steel cap boots, high viz long work clothes). People with experience working with trees using chainsaws and chippers but no official qualification are strongly encouraged to apply. You will need to have Construction White Card, MR Truck Licence, and Chainsaw Ticket and willing to undertake pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening). Mustbe willing and able to get along in a team environment.
