Position Overview:

Under the direction of the Youth Prevention Services Manager or designate, the Administrative Assistant will perform general secretarial duties while maintaining and ensuring polite, helpful, and courteous contact with the clients and staff under the Supportive Housing Program and Post Majority Support Services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum two-year Health Record Technician or Secretarial Diploma is required.
  • Three or more years experience in secretarial and administrative support duties, preferably in an Anishinabek alcohol and drug residential centre.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as determined by the Youth Prevention Services Manager or designate in relation to service requirements.
  • Must possess a Class “G” Driver’s License and have access to a personal vehicle.
  • Must complete a criminal records check, satisfactory to Dilico.
  • Must complete a medical and receive the required immunizations as recommended by the local medical officer of health.
