A leading organization in Ontario is seeking a dedicated Intake Worker. This position involves managing operations related to children's mental health services and ensures that referrals are processed accurately. Candidates should have a strong background in human services and be prepared for significant travel throughout the District of Thunder Bay.
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Access & District Mental Health Services Manager, the Intake Worker is responsible to manage the day to day operations of the Access Network and will ensure that completed intakes are distributed to the appropriate agency(s) for further processing. All services provided must be consistent with the philosophy, approach, goals and learning environment established by Dilico Anishinabek Family Care.
The primary responsibility of this position is to complete all District Children’s Mental Health referrals using Agency and Ministry documentation.
Extensive travel throughout the District of Thunder Bay will be required.
